Recently I reviewed the reissue of Carole King’s classic album, Tapestry, for Blogcritics. I wrote, “The thing that makes this particular release of Tapestry unique and worthy of the collection of any Carole King fan is the second disc of previously unreleased live recordings.” One of those songs is “You Make Me Feel Like (A Natural Woman),” and here is a video of a live performance of the song:

The Republic Tigers are releasing their new album Keep Color today on Chop Shop Records. The video for the song “Buildings & Mountains” is available on iTunes, but frankly, I’m not quite sure what the appeal would be. Seems like a whole lot of artistic shots leading to a pointless storyline. The song is hypnotically cool, though, so I’ll give ‘em points for that.
