The fact that it’s from the producers of Knocked Up is already a negative mark on Forgetting Sarah Marshall’s grade, and being billed as “the world’s first romantic disaster comedy” doesn’t help, either. Maybe it won’t suck, but more than likely it will please fans of vapid disaster comedies. In theaters on April 18th.

Hollywood loves to rehash ideas, and even better, remake old films and TV shows. One of the latest slated to be given the modern touch is the 1960s goofball spy comedy Get Smart. Steve Carell will take on the titular role, which seems appropriately type-casted. In theaters June 20th.

In the action-packed new thriller Doomsday, from writer/director Neil Marshall (The Descent, Dog Soldiers), the Marshall pretends that this isn’t a zombie film and is really a medical horror flick. Audiences know better, but they also love zombie films, so it’s all good. The film opens on March 14th.
