In 1983, Bum Kon recorded their only single, “Drunken Sex Sucks” (released by Local Anesthetic and recorded by Bob Ferbrache), which sold through two pressings at the time and now fetches up to $150 on eBay. Five songs appear on the single but twenty more were recorded at the same session. While working on mastering The Local Anesthetic compilation, Ferbrache found the master tapes with the remaining songs and different takes not used on the single, all of which are now available on one disc that costs a more reasonable $15 down at your local record store.
