When not playing guitar for up-and-coming artists such as Jenny Owen Youngs and Ingrid Michaelson, or playing bass and synth with her established synth/pop band The Age of Rockets, Brooklyn’s Bess Rogers was making great use of her beautiful voice and songwriting talent to create intimate yet incredibly accessible pop songs that were confined to her bedroom and ears of personal friends. These tunes have been compiled onto an album entitled Decisions Based On Information, which warms the cockles of my librarian heart.
