The video for Robbers On High Street’s “Crown Victoria” was directed by LA-based filmmaker Jason Argyropoulos, who used a very unique technique on the footage. Argyropoulos shot the band, then created the background scenery by hand, and projected the footage of the band, frame by frame, on each background. He then shot each combination as individual frames. The whole process, which did not involve any computers or digital special effects, took several months to complete.
