Tracks from Dropkick Murphys’ The Meanest of Times
On March 11th, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day and their March tour dates, the Dropkick Murphys have repackaged The Meanest Of Times to include extra tracks and a bonus DVD and will release a limited edition deluxe CD/DVD package. Blogcritic Mary K. Williams has this to say about the album: “My only complaint about this CD would be that there are not enough of Scruffy Wallace’s pipes. A girl with the maiden name of O’Dougherty does have a hankering for those sorts of Celtic trappings, luckily for me the tin whistle, accordion and mandolin do find their way throughout the album, along with the earthy vocals.” Listen to a few tracks. Also, check out their performance of “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” on the Late Show with David Letterman.
