In October of last year Jason Schwartzman, as Coconut Records, submitted his song “West Coast” to the Indie Music Channel on OurStage.com and quickly started receiving votes for Best Indie Artist. The fans decided, and chose Coconut Records to win October’s Grand Prize for Best Indie Artist. Surprised by both the reaction of fans, and winning the grand prize on OurStage.com, Schwartzman sits down with OurStage VJ Quinn to talk about Coconut Records for the first time.
