In a couple of weeks, The Goo Goo Dolls will be releasing their first ever greatest hits collection, entitled Greatest Hits Vol. 1 - The Singles. Personally, I was turned off of the band when it seemed that “Iris” was the only song on rotation for a month or so at all the radio stations. But, obviously, they wouldn’t have been any more than a one-hit wonder if there wasn’t a mass appeal, so there’s that.
