After working with a humanitarian organization in Afghanistan for a couple of years, The OaKs‘ Ryan Costello moved back to the US and reunited with drummer Matthew Antolick. The two activists pulled together the rest of the band and released Our Fathers and The Things They Left Behind, which has received national attention for its political content.
