One of my absolute favorite covers is done by Chicago native Rose Polenzani. She’s taken the classic 80s hair metal ballad “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake and turned it into a passionate folk/pop tune. Until now, i had only ever seen/heard it performed live, but she roped together a bunch of friends and made this video of them playing the song:
