They Shoot Horses Don’t They? is back with its trademarked post-punk/post-circus sound. Coming off the success of 2006’s Boo Hoo Hoo Boo, the Vancouver 8-piece gives us Pick Up Sticks, an album full of oompa horns and whirling, driving guitars all wrapped up under the peculiar charm of the band’s lyrics.

The Indigo Girls have redeemed themselves from the absurdity of the dresses and pearls of their last video with what is quite possibly the first group dance scene involving paper cut-out dolls. Plus, “Rock and Roll Heaven’s Gate” is already an awesome song made even more awesome by vocals from Pink.
